Mentor Bridging for Newcomers PROGRAM
The program is designed to matches newcomers (Immigrants, Temporary Foreign Workers, International Students, Refugees and Permanent Residents) in Canada less than 10 years. To local professional mentors with similar employment background or experience in the field or job the newcomers are targeting to ease the transition into the Canadian workplace
The program is for a 6-month duration and consists of a minimum of 4-meetings, between mentor and mentee where they can discuss workplace culture, occupation specific terminologies, work responsibilities and expectations, and assistance with resume and cover letter, interview preparation and foreign credentialling.
